Hello, I'm Jessie.

I'm a stay-at-home wife and mom who's a sucker for a good story. I've always loved reading, but like many people, formal education sapped nearly all of my desire to pick up a book just for the joy of it. Thankfully, I finished my degree in 2014, and in 2016 my love for books was reignited. It's been a raging inferno ever since.

Along with reading, I also love to write and share my thoughts on a larger scale, which is why I've created this fancy shmancy little blog. There will definitely be book reviews. There will likely be lists of many kinds such as monthly and yearly TBRs (that's 'to be read') and wrap-ups. And maybe, if I ever become one of those 100+ books a year type of people, I'll convince myself that I'm an authority on books and share recommendations, too.
